Royal Caribbean Group has announced a new way for guests to earn loyalty points across its family of cruise lines. Beginning in early 2026, members of Crown & Anchor Society, Captain’s Club, and Venetian Society will be able to choose where their cruise points go, no matter which of the three brands they sail with — Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises, or Silversea.

Here’s what that means in simple terms:

  • Right now, if you sail on Royal Caribbean, you earn Crown & Anchor points. If you sail on Celebrity, you earn Captain’s Club points, and so on.
  • When Points Choice launches, you’ll be able to pick which program those points are applied to.
  • For example, if you’re sailing with Celebrity but usually cruise with Royal Caribbean, you can apply your earned points to your Crown & Anchor account instead.
  • It also works the other way around. A Royal Caribbean guest can apply their cruise points to Captain’s Club if they want to keep building their Celebrity status.

This change builds on the status match already in place across the three brands, so your current tier level carries over when you switch lines. Nothing about your existing benefits or tier status is changing.

Points Choice will only apply to cruises departing after the program launches, and Royal Caribbean Group says more details — including how points will convert between brands — will be shared closer to launch.

Royal Caribbean Group CEO Jason Liberty called this update “the next evolution” of the company’s loyalty programs, designed to give guests more flexibility and encourage them to explore all three cruise lines within the group.

We’re still waiting on the exact launch date and details on how points will convert across brands, which the company says will be shared in the coming months.
