Radisson Blu Resort Fiji has elevated its guest experience through a comprehensive, property-wide renewal.
SUVA, Fiji — Radisson Blu Resort Fiji on Denarau Island has finished a 12-month, FJD 6 million revitalization to elevate the guest experience resort-wide. The project included updating signature restaurants, public spaces, family amenities, and wellness areas.

The renovation covered Basilico Italian Restaurant, Byblos Lebanese Restaurant, Blu Bar & Grill, and the Swim-Up Pool Bar. In 2025, improvements were also made to Lailai Market, the Resort Lobby, Harmony Spa, and Blu Banana Kids Club. Guests now benefit from new poolside umbrellas and larger beachfront cabanas for both families and adults-only relaxation.
“These improvements reflect our ongoing commitment to delivering unforgettable stays for our guests, many of whom return year after year,” said Charles Homsy, General Manager, Radisson Blu Resort Fiji, Denarau Island.
A refreshed arrival and everyday convenience
Guests arriving at The Resort now step into a lobby that seamlessly blends refined elegance with local character. Inspired by the natural beauty of the area, the lobby features a soothing palette of soft, earthy tones and is furnished with contemporary pieces ranging from luxurious seating pods to designer accent tables. Thoughtfully layered lighting—incorporating soft chandeliers, discreet LED tracks, and atmospheric lamps—brings warmth and tranquility while highlighting architectural details. The open floor plan maximizes navigability for guests of every need, while select zones with cozy seating offer both privacy and sociability, welcoming individuals, couples, and groups alike for check-ins or casual meetings. Timber beams, stone insets, and handwoven decorative features nod to regional artistry, grounding the space with a sense of place. The reception area boasts a minimalist counter with digital check-in options, enabling quick, guest-friendly service and reducing congestion during busy hours.

Adjacent to the lobby, the transformed Lailai Market stands out as a dual-purpose stop, functioning as both an express market and a curated boutique. Its shelves are stocked with freshly roasted coffee, gourmet pastries, vibrant salads, and handcrafted smoothies, all prepared daily with local ingredients. Guests can easily find essentials—like sun care products, fashionable hats, and grab-and-go snacks—as well as Radisson Blu-branded merchandise for keepsakes. The market’s central positioning ensures it’s a convenient detour for guests whether they’re heading to join a tour, stopping en route to the pool, or arriving late and seeking a quick bite or necessary travel items.
Family time, play time
Reopening with a fresh and lively look, the Blu Banana Kids Club now features thoughtfully designed spaces that foster both active play and relaxation. Children can rush down expansive indoor slides or test their skills on a secure rock-climbing wall with ample padded flooring, ensuring their safety. Along the perimeter, wall-fitted cubbies provide convenient storage and serve as inviting hideaways for reading or relaxing with friends. The games and activity room, equipped with kid-sized tables and chairs, is stocked with classic board games and supplies for creative projects, promoting imaginative play and teamwork.
The club’s intuitive layout allows children to move freely between vibrant play areas and calming nooks, while the open design ensures that staff and guardians maintain supervision at all times. Additionally, direct access to the Marau Entertainment Area gives children endless possibilities for fun during special events and family programs, seamlessly integrating the Kids Club into the resort’s broader offerings.
Wellness, dining, and outdoor comforts
Harmony Spa has received a comprehensive makeover, now featuring beautifully renovated interiors, tranquil ambiance with soft lighting and calming scents, and an expanded suite of rejuvenating treatments, including local Fijian therapies. Whether guests unwind before a swim or recover after a day in the sun, the spa’s refreshed environment offers a soothing sanctuary at the heart of the resort.
Across Radisson Blu Resort Fiji, guests can enjoy brand-new poolside umbrellas that provide extra shade and stylish comfort, along with increased cabana options that allow both small families and couples to relax in privacy along the beachfront, lively family pools, or the exclusive adults-only relaxation area. These additions ensure everyone finds their preferred spot under the sun or stars.
For food lovers, dining enhancements are evident throughout the property. Basilico now delights with new Italian specialties and family-style sharing platters, while Byblos brings an upgraded Middle Eastern menu and vibrant decor. Blu Bar & Grill serves up fresh seafood and grilled favorites in a breezy, open-air setting, and the Swim-Up Pool Bar offers quick, delicious snacks and colorful beverages without ever leaving the water. Together, these upgrades offer guests a diverse range of high-quality culinary choices, perfect for every occasion.
Looking ahead, Radisson Blu Resort Fiji, Denarau Island looks forward to welcoming both new and returning guests with a reinvigorated island experience. From the moment guests are greeted in the open-air lobby with ocean views, to family-friendly fun, effortless relaxation, and personalized attention throughout each stay, the resort aims to deliver lasting memories for every visitor.
